Congratulations to the Wildcats Chess Team on an historic 3-peat championship victory! This third consecutive title proves your unmatched dedication, strategic brilliance, and mental fortitude. You have solidified your legacy as champions, demonstrating incredible teamwork and focus. Your coaches, parents and teachers are incredibly proud of your continued success! 

The SMS Boys Basketball team was victorious in their first round action at Rend Lake College. The Wildcats beat Saint Claire 53-34. The boys will play at 6:00 on Tuesday February 10th against Nashville.

Good luck to the SMS Boys Basketball team. They play in the 1st round of the SIJHSAA Class M state series today against Saint Claire at 4:45 at Red Lake College in Ina.

Jayden Chen, Kaiden Bradley, TaLyn Taylor and SaNoah Meeks represented SMS at the Belle Fair Spelling Bee in January 23rd.

Congratulations to our Students who made Honor roll for the 2nd quarter. Way to go Wildcats!

The sweet shop will be open during lunch on Friday.

The boys and girls basketball teams as well as the cheerleaders recently held 8th grade night. Thank you 8th graders.

6th grade artists are learning about Mandalas, designs created all across the globe and throughout many time periods. Students worked in small groups to make Mandalas out of art supplies in the classroom before starting on their individual projects. Students said teamwork and communication was critical for the design success! Way to go, artists!

This year the faculty and staff at SMS had a door decorating contest. Congratulations to the winners. 1st place: Ms. Fisher, 2nd place : Ms. Faust, 3rd place Ms. Dupuis.
