Good evening!

As many of you are aware, in our efforts to put phones in every elementary classroom this year, we have had network difficulty with the phone service.  Solving the problem permanently has proven to be very difficult.  At times, things have worked well only to experience difficulty once again. We are making steady progress every day, but feel we cannot operate safely without a consistent method of communication via phone.

To that end, a dedicated cell phone will be in both the elementary and middle school offices moving forward as a safeguard for any outage. Though we currently are not experiencing the same issues with our middle school, we will be prepared for that contingency.

To contact our offices when the regular phone service is unavailable, please call 618-803-9314 for Shiloh Elementary School and 618-954-0091 for Shiloh Middle School.

With safety being our number one priority and convenience for our community being important as well, we will move forward using this plan.

We understand the recent frustrations and appreciate your patience as we work toward our common goal for safer schools.

Sincerely,
Dale Sauer
Superintendent
